Access & Inclusivity
The art studios are based upstairs in OXYGENIC in Whitley Bay, just outside of Newcastle and Northumberland. Oxygenic’s downstairs bar cafe and main venue space are fully accessible, with step-free entry and accessible toilet facilities.
Please note that the majority of our art studio space and workshops take place on the first floor and are currently accessible by stairs only. Unfortunately, there is no lift access at this time.
We are aware of how limiting this can be for some people, and where possible I can offer you another venue for a private one to one session.
If you have specific access requirements for the upstairs studio spaces, please contact me before booking and I will always do what I can within the physical limits of the building.
